CATCH A DREAM CAMPAIGN                                                  The goal of the C.A.D.C is to re-educate all youth to the reality that they can achieve their dreams. Our goal is also to place a dream catcher in the hands of every child, starting with American 5th and 6th graders.

Details of the Program

"Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Dreams"  This is a dynamic interactive educational presentation that is both visual and verbal in design. We will come to any school to give this presentation on why we need to "SAY NO TO DRUGS", and how we can "SAY YES TO DREAMS". It is our firm belief that the youth of today do not truly understand that they all can accomplish their dreams. Why does one inner city child excel and attend college while another ends in jail? How does someone achieve their dreams of becoming an Olympic Champion, Astronaut, or Doctor? We will use Native American cultural beliefs and customs to help explain how all of us may use planning, exercise, and practice to "Catch our Dreams". The presentation will last from 30 minutes to 1 hour and is currently designed for single class size groups. All presentations will end with each child receiving a dream catcher with an attached explanation of the beliefs behind the dream catcher. This service is free of charge with no limitions, because we do not believe that limits can be placed on dreams. We may need to be a little creative in the scheduling of our visit depending upon the distances of travel required and our available funding resources.
