*On-Scene Interventions* From *Native Directions*   On-Scene Intervention Services Native Directions brings over fifty years of combined experience to our new On -Scene Intervention Program. This addition to our  Referal, Tribal, and Support Services Programs, places a Native Directions Intervention Specialist at the scene, where an intervention is needed to support the at-risk person, as well as the family members who have run out of options for friends and loved ones who are at Risk.

Who Can Utilize This Service? * Agencies, Families, Friends, Other Referal Programs, and Professionals can utilize Native Directions On-Scene Services.

When Should an Intervention Take Place? * Interventions take place at different times, and in different circumstances. There is no "Perfect Time" for an intervention. Since each individual presents special needs, the issues which present themselves, must be weighed by family members, crisis workers, hospitals, and other professionals, as to whether or not the time has arrived for each specific type of intervention. Yes, there are different types of interventions. Generally, an intervention should take place as soon as possible, before the situation places the individual in danger of a threat to their life.

What Next? Native Directions will help you to determine what steps are next, and identify the best ways to help your Friend, Family member, or Loved one. The issues of each indivual are unique whether they are struggling with out of control behaviors like anger, narcotics, injectables, pills, alcohol, gambling, or eating disorders. The person at risk, may have been hiding their addiction, addictions or behaviors for days/weeks/years until it has become so out of control for them that now it threatens to break down the fabric of their life. You may have noticed that something was wrong for a while but were not able to pin point the cause. Don't blame yourself! People become very good at hiding their issues until they become completely unmanagable. Mood swings, depression, seeking isolation, and severe anger are only the tips of the iceburg when dealing with most cases. We Can Help! Native Directions will help you to identify the specific needs to best help. Whether or not to involve the Authorities, medical needs, hospitals, treatment centers, Secure transportation. All of these complex issues are easy when you have the help of an experienced expert service like ours.

Fees? Native Directions will charge the following fees for Nation-Wide Intervention Services within the United States: Contiguous United States: Plane Fare for all required parties, Car rental, Lodging, and Per-Diem for the duration of the intervention. Alaska, Hawaii, Pacific Rim, U.S. Protectorates: Includes above fees, and possible bush pilot, boat, or other travel necessities as dictated by distance, and weather. *Per Diem in this format is a set amount for each location throughout the World for food, communications, and incidentals for each Native Directions Interventionist. **Professional fees: These charges vary widely and are based upon several factors, including but not limited to: Family Income, Situational Circumstances, Refering  Agency, and Need for Immediacy.  In some cases profession fees will be waived (Provided through a Native Directions Grant) if the family income will not support such fees. However, Plane Fare, Lodging, Transportation, and Per-Diem fees are non-negotiable.
